Recipe for Four-Berry Pie




This berry pie recipe is very simple and you will get hooked on it!

Wash and hull 1 cup each of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. Drain the berries well, and then quarter the strawberries. Place all berries in a glass bowl, sprinkle with one tablespoon fresh lemon juice and ½ cup granulated sugar. Mix well and set aside for 30 minutes.

Heat ½ cup of strawberry jam in the microwave oven for about 20 seconds until it turns into a shiny liquid.

Now, take a 9 inch baked pie shell, dump the berries in, smooth it and then drizzle with the jam. Refrigerate until the filling thickens and serve with a tablespoon vanilla yoghurt on top.
