SOFTLY WHISPERING I LOVE YOU

Softly Whispering I Love You by The English Congregation - 1972

Softly, whispering I love you,
echoes of your voice are calling still through my dreams,
softening the chill of the breeze.

Through my window,
I can see the moon glow
painting silver shadows on a rose-colored land;

A world that we walk hand in hand
in a day of gold
colored by the glow of new love.

Oh, Woman, I can feel your warm face ever close to my lips
and the scent of you invades the cool evening air.

I can close my eyes and you´re there in my arms still
and I know your soft kiss,
turning into music every beat of my heart,

When I hold you close to my heart
and I hear your voice
whispering I love you.

Music - the Universal Language

Music is indeed the universal language and does not know any human made boundaries. It can inspire, uplift and motivate people. Music can also be relaxing and can move any person to tears, laughter and joy.

The power of music has been known and used since the beginning of human kind.

There are many kinds of music. Fast, upbeat music combined with a workout stimulates the brain and body into movement whilst relaxing music lulls the mind and body into a relaxed state. Soft relaxing music helps getting children to quieten down and at night time whilst reading a bedtime story helps to create the right atmosphere for sleep.

Music is a magical tool, one that works for people of any age. Like smells, music can be strongly linked to one’s emotional state. It can take a person back in time or remind them of certain people.

Nobody can be without music - make it part of your life and enjoy the many psychological and health benefits.

How to Make Floral Hair Lotion

Pamper your hair occasionally with a conditioning treatment made from nourishing plant extracts.
Here is an easy to make recipe for a lotion which will pamper your hair.

Mix together 2 tablespoons dried calendula petals, 2 tablespoons dried stinging nettle leaves and 2 tablespoons dried rosemary. Pour into a sealable bottle. Add 1½ cup cider vinegar. Shake and seal. Leave in a sunny spot for two weeks to infuse.

Strain the liquid into a second bottle, and then add one tablespoon of avocado oil and five drops of rosemary essential oil. Shake well and seal.

Wash your hair as usual. Moisten a cotton wool pad with the lotion and dab your wet scalp with it. Leave to dry naturally, if possible.

How to be a Sensual Woman

Use music: Music is one of the best ways for changing your state and influencing your mood. Listen to music that makes you feel grateful, soft, peaceful, happy, serene, joyful, and free. You can even dance to it in your own home.

Accentuate the attributes you have that are the opposite of a man’s: It’s in the way you sit, the way you talk, the words you use, how you use your hands, how you smile, how you touch others, how you greet people (words and the physical aspects). A lot of women stand and walk like men, drink like a man would, unknowingly. They stand with their hands on their hips the way a man would do it, and sway their arms and legs in the way that a strong and powerful man would do.

Work-out on accentuating and improving every feminine aspect of your body: This includes the buttocks, the legs, the tummy, and the breasts (weights to help the breasts defy gravity.) Do smaller weights with more repetitions that keep your arms toned, rather than strong looking.

Sensual women are delicate: Any jewellery that is overly harsh starts to take away from the woman and draw attention to fashion.

Men go crazy over a woman who can give them a genuine smile: It does not matter what her physical attributes are, if you give a man a genuine, happy smile and look him in the eye – he is going to be profoundly affected. Ask any man who is in touch with his masculinity whether a smile is extremely important in a woman and he will say yes.

Appreciate men for being men: Always show appreciation for a masculine man.

No More Sleepless Nights

Restless nights, insomnia and disturbed sleep claim over 60 million victims every night in the US. So if you experience difficulty sleeping you are in good company. Yet, often sleep problems are the result of a deeper problem, a problem that you may be able to begin to overcome by using some of these five 'quick change' techniques. They will not remove the root cause of your insomnia but they could well reduce its effects, which will help you to get some well-deserved rest.

1. Avoid caffeinated drinks in the evening

To avoid sleep insomnia it is good to clear all of the caffeine out of your body prior to resting. In practice it is right to avoid all caffeine from early evening onwards. And because some teas and chocolate contain caffeine you must be careful of any secret sources of caffeine.

2. Make sleep a habit

Create a specific and systematic bedtime routine. Start the relaxation process some time before you want to sleep. Do the things that feel right for you, for example you could get yourself a warm drink, and relax with a good book. Do things that don't need lots of movement and ideally avoid spending time on the computer or being glued to the television as both could be very stimulating.

3. Avoid alcohol

It is a misconception that a late night drink can help you relax; alcohol is proven to inhibit or in some cases interrupt deep, relaxing sleep. Although the odd glass of wine will not make a great difference, it is best to avoid all alcohol whist you attempt a routine to induce consistent sleep patterns.

4. Make bedtime regular

Most sleep professionals concur that having a planned and regular time to go to rest is an aid to sleeping well. Initially, if you have a problem sleeping your normal instinct is to go to bed early, in fact the most efficient way to get a peaceful night's sleep is to go to bed later. You may sleep for less you will have deeper, more restful sleep. Then once your rest patterns have stabilized and your body readjusted you could then begin to go to bed earlier and sleep for longer.

5. Relax to calming music

To aid your journey to rest think of listening to calming music, natural sounds, self-hypnosis or suggestion audio for a deeper more soothing sleep. These treatments are actually developed to help you relax and calm down. A few are based on successful therapy practices and designed to solve the root cause of your insomnia.

Take a break from stress and relax

Stress getting the upper hand? Say no, and take control. Here are some every day tips:

©      Water has been used as a stress reliever for centuries. Go for a swim, sit in a sauna or relax in a Jacuzzi. Twice a month, soak your body in a hot bath to which you've added a cup of sea salt and a cup of bicarbonate of soda. It will relax your muscles and make you drowsy, helping you have a good night's rest and ensuring you wake up feeling refreshed and energized.

©      Exercise releases endorphins (feel-good hormones) and also burns off excess energy, which would otherwise make you feel grumpy or irritable:

  • If your body is feeling tired and stiff, lie on your back on a firm, flat surface with your feet slightly apart and your hands at your sides. Relax your arms and turn your palms upwards, with your fingers slightly bent. Lie in this position for 10 to 20 minutes while concentrating on your breathing. Before getting up, turn onto your left side and place your left arm underneath your head. Lie like this for at least two minutes before pushing yourself up with your right hand.

  • Lie on your stomach with your legs slightly apart. Put your hands on top of each other, with the palms facing down and turn your head to the side so that your cheek is resting on top of your hands. Close your eyes and breathe rhythmically through your nose. This exercise is especially effective for calming you down after you've had a fight with someone.

  • Sit with your feet shoulder-width apart. Rest your palms on your thighs. Close your eyes. Spend five minutes passively listening to sounds in the distance, until you feel relaxed. You can do this behind your desk or in a parked car. Try it after struggling through traffic on your way to an important meeting or after a disagreement with a colleague.

©      Lie on your back in bed. Close your eyes and place your hands in a comfortable position behind your head. Press your thumbs into your ears to shut out the external noise. You will hear a sound rushing through your head – that's completely normal. Listen to it for 10 to 15 minutes, then bring your arms down to your sides, relax and go to sleep.

©      It is a proven fact f that vitamin C helps us to relax and lessens our stress levels. You can bolster your levels of vitamin C naturally by eating lots of citrus, strawberries, broccoli, guavas, spanspek, green pepper and tomatoes.

©      Laugh your stress away. When you laugh, feel-good hormones are released that inhibit levels of the harmful stress hormone cortisol, and bolster your immunity.

©      Some types of music, especially baroque music, calm you down by slowing your brain waves. Try listening to music composed by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi (especially The Four Seasons) or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart when you're feeling stressed.
