Tried and Trusted Hair Care Tips

For Normal Hair

Hair should be brushed frequently to keep it health. Brushing stimulates the scalp and aids circulation.

For soft silky hair, dab a half-cup full-cream milk onto the hair with a face cloth. Leave on for 15 minutes, and then rinse out.

Give fair hair a silky shine by adding two tablespoons of lemon juice to the shampoo.

Beer makes a good setting lotion. Pour four tablespoons into a spray bottle and spray onto your hair.
Do not worry about the smell; it will disappear once the hair is dry.

For Greasy Hair

Avoid excessive brushing of greasy hair. It will only stimulate the sebaceous glands into producing more sebum. When blow drying, brush upwards to create volume.

To keep your hair as grease-free as possible, stick to a healthy diet with plenty of fruit, vegetables and wholemeal products. Avoid sweets and processed and fatty foods.
